Presently, Square Panel System Co., Ltd. has innovated a new product – Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam under Discontinuous Production System. The product has special characteristics which are fire proof, insulation as well as thermal conductivity (K) = 0.024 watt /m.k. These characteristics are similar to polyurethane (PU) foam.
The PIR foam has been tested by Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University and passed ASTM E84 Standard Test Method for Fire-resistance and Uniform Building Code Standard No. 26-3 (UBC 26-3) - Room Fire Test Standard for Interior Form Plastic System (as shown in the document). As a result of these unique characteristics, PIR foam has earned acceptance and recognition by many institutions such as FM, ASTM, BS, JIS, DIN STANDARD etc.
